LIMF Presents an afternoon of musical debate, film screening and live performance – and I’m part of it! Live streaming this Sunday from 3-9pm. Head over to LIMFESTIVAL.COM for all you need to know.
This Sunday (19 July) should have seen Liverpool International Music Festival (LIMF) take over Sefton Park – instead, a mini-virtual festival LIMF presents...Music City: Next Phase will take place on the LIMF website from 3-9pm, exploring what it really means for Liverpool to be a music city.
I will be taking part in a panel discussion hosted by Kev McManus, Head of UNESCO City of Music, with Cath Hurley (Most Deffo, Future Yard), Mat Flynn (University of Liverpool), Paul Gallagher (National Museums Liverpool) and Beija Flo (musical artist). We will discuss how the Liverpool Music Scene continues to push boundaries and make its mark on the music sector, the challenges and opportunities currently and going forward, as well as looking at diversity and inclusion in the industry.
